nice job so far it sounds like it's off to a good start, depending on your goals for the piece i would continue to explore phrasing and voiceing, i.e. find opportunities to widen the contrast between the melodic lines and the decoration. also its sounds like a contemporary/modern adaptation so the harmonies are already very colorful but try to see if you can bring out some juicey accidentals there and there and exagerate the dynamics, treat them like adding pepper just a dash or two every so often will make things all the more tastey, too much and it'll ruin it.

also memorize it, you'll be more free to take things where you want them without worying about page turns and reading.

great job

Thanks! I didn't really do much with the dynamics in the video.. I recorded this a little while ago. I have been playing it a lot more now...I'm sure it sounds better. haha I guess I just need to re-record it. :)

Thanks for the tips and thoughts!

I'm sure you already have this piece under your belt. I'm also sure you have this memorized because I'm just judging by the confidence of your playing. Just don't look at your music. Look at your hands and they will do the work. I find that helps a bit when playing for memory. I love this piece very much and excellent work.

P.s. Greensleeves?

Funny? How? How am I funny?

I pretty much have this memorized just because I play it ALL THE TIME! lol i really like this song. :) I was at a friends house without my sheets and she wanted me to play something for her so I tried to play this..and I was able to make it all the way through on my second try.. so I do pretty much have it memorized :)  I would like to start trying to memorize my more "popular" songs, because I don't want to have to carry my sheets with me everywhere I go. I've just been busy with other things at the moment.

Nope.. it's What Child Is This :P but the tune is greensleeves.
