Lucky Dog! Quick question on this Fazioli
on: December 23, 2011, 04:58:34 PM
*sigh....i have the biggest crush on this instrument. the 'ferrari of pianos"
question, look at the black adonized finished wheels, the hubs have a 'rainbow' finish, anyone know if this is fazioli utilizing a rainbow treatment on the wheels or is it possible that the hall lighting is producing this effect. I ask becuase my friend has a stethoscope with the same finish so it's possible, i'd just never heard of or thought i'd ever see in on one of these babies, but then a gain with a silver plate i could see the flashy piano maker going this route.
oh to be able to perform on one of these in my lifetime...the playing is quite good, the piece i'd never heard but liked. i wanted to go into the video and take down the music desk.

Yeah I think it is a 'rainbow' treatment because I think the light reflected ont he piano would only be yellow or white as I usually see.
