Need suggestions..........
on: January 26, 2012, 05:52:39 PM
Hello,
Actually I want to buy a new piano for me.
But I don’t know which will be better for me. Though I have chosen Yamaha YPG535 Portable Grand Keyboard 88 Piano-Style Key & Casio Ap-620 Celviano Digital piano with Matching Bench. But which one is perfect for me?

Perhaps if you give us more background info people will have a basis to offer suggestions. What piano do you have now? What is it about your current piano you find lacking? What would you like to have in a new piano? What music will you be playing? Do you need to hook up the DP to an amp? Will you be playing with MIDI?
This is probably better filed in the Instruments board.

Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

Generally which ever one feels better when you play is a good starting point. However I notice that the Yamaha only has 32 note polyphony vs the casio 128. This means that notes will start to dissapear faster with the Yamaha if you hold the sustain and play many notes. This may be a problem if you play more advanced works, in that case the Casio will produce better sound quality for you.
