Piano sound
on: February 09, 2012, 11:17:00 AM
Does anyone know if a piano's sound can be too large for a room? I recently purchased a Kawai RX 2 5'10" grand and although it was some what bright in the treble in the store, in my studio it's painful. I won't play it. Needless to say, (although I'm saying it anyway) it's going back to the store. Unfortunate since I love the touch. I'm not bothering with voicing, although I know this is an option. Now a 5'10" Boston has come up for sale ( used) 5 years only. I don't know if I should consider it due to it's size. help??
