Because of my incoming exams (non-music major here), I can't study new pieces. So, I only played pieces I tried last year.

Chopin Preludes Op 28/15 and 4, Op 45
Chopin Nocturne Op 9/2
Schumann Op 15/7
Dvorak Humoresque Op 101/7

I guess they sounded nicer today  ;D

Well I'll post what I'm trying to accomplish.. it may be very easy to you guys but ok.

I'm trying to play "Lost Paintings" composed by Michiru Yamane. You can hear in the Castlevania game Symphony of the Night. I don't know if you guys are into game composers, but this sounds very good. I'm at the 15th bar of the sheet.

I'm happy because I'm able to play to this point without a mistake, after practicing some time.

I know this may sound so stupid but I just cant play 2 simple notes (D anf F#) at the same time with my left hand, although I can do it easily with my right hand. I don't know why I can't, every time I try to do the DF# fast i always play the D# too, and this is annoying me. Anyway this is what I practiced today.

Other pieces I tried for today:

Field Nocturne 1
Brahms Intermezzo Op 117/1
Chopin Waltz Op 69/2, Op 64/2

The Brahms Intermezzo sounds 'boring' when I play it. I'll try it again after my exams.  ;D

Wow! I'm still at this piece, and probably will be for some time. I need to reach 2 notes in different octaves with my right hand and I've never done before.. doing very slowly as I don't want to damage anything. Let me see, I'm happy overall, as I improved a lot. Still have a long way to go. I'll look forward to do some exercises.
