Piano from my grandmas house
on: February 13, 2012, 01:16:05 AM
Ok, we got this piano out of my grandmas house, I'm not sure what its worth, probably nothing, but I wanted to make sure its not anything special before I basically give it away LOL. The only marking on the entire piano says "Staufen & Sons" . It says it on a metal plate above the keys, and under the top when you lift it up to view the chords/strings or whatever they are called. Its an upright piano. Any help would be appreciated, I've searched google and couldnt find anything so I figured I'll try here.
Thanks

if its badely damaged in strings and tuning pings, I would suggest cut the keyboard out, a small section940cm and keep it for your holiday keyboard shadow practice like Franz Lizst used to do. At his period there are less tempation like now days with radios, TV's, and computer games.
