Well, most of mine are kind of overplayed and quite well know, but still they are just great.

Etude Op.10 No 3 (First time i heard it I almost cried...)
Piano Concerto no. 2
Polonaise-Fantasie
Nocturne Op. 9 no 2 (I can play this, hear it recording but i always enjoy it, and one of the first things he wrote)
Grande Valse Brillante

Maybe I should hear to more of his Preludes.

A very difficult one.

Largo from the 3rd Piano Sonata (in fact the whole 3rd Sonata)
Etude Op 10 No 3
4th Ballade.

Those are some favourites for now. Surely they'll change later

Difficult one to answer, I'll give a top 5...and then try to rationalize which one I like the best lol:

-Prelude no. 18
-Ballade no. 4
-Minute Waltz
-Concerto No. 1
-Prelude no. 21

but honestly I think out of all of these, the Minute Waltz will have a very special place in my heart, since it was the first Chopin piece I learned, memorized, and made a part of small but growing repertoire =).

Chopin has the most consistently high standard of just about any composer I can think of so this is a difficult question.

Here's my top 5

1. Ballade No. 3

2. Etude in C sharp minor (The slow one)

3. Polonaise Heroique

4. Fantasy in F minor

5. Allegro de Concert (underrated in my opinion)

Am I the only person who thinks Chopin's sonatas are incredibly underrated, especially in comparison with his other works?

-Sonata 2 Movement 1
-Sonata 3 Movements 1 and 4

are some of my all time favorites.

Others faves:

-Ballade 1
-Etudes - all of them, but especially "Winter Wind" and "Revolutionary"
-Grand Polonaise Brillante Op 22 piano solo version
-Not quite as "grand" on the scale of large works, but I also never get tired of playing his Nocturnes, especially 9/1 and his C Sharp Minor one (opus posthumous), from childhood up until now.

my genre favs:

-Concerto Op.46 (One movement's enough to become a concerto. Don't think I'm stupid ;))
-Etude Op.10 No.4 (chopping was probably on steroids when he composed this)
-Fantasy Op.49 (there's another fantasy)
-Impromptu Op.66 (the classic favorite)
-Mazurka Op.56 No.3 (the longest and the best)
-Nocturne Op.48 No.2 (the melody tho)
-Prelude Op.28 No.24 (mascots plus plus plus)
-Polonaise Op.44 (the amount of octaves tho. i think it beat 25/10)
-Rondo Op.1 (pencliart could never compose this)
-Scherzo Op.20 (the fourth is really good too)
-Variations Brilliante Op.12 (the other 2 scherzos)
-Waltz in e minor (his early swag)
