burgmuller

So recently I moved house. And I was given the pieces, arabesque and ballade from my teacher the last time I saw her (a month ago)

Since then I've found, l'orage, and adieu that I also liked.

No doubt he has an extensive collection, can any one recommend some other pieces of his in a similar style, that I might enjoy?

The pieces you mention are all from op 100 (I think it's 100) - 25 progressive studies. You should be able to find the rest on imslp.

yeah but I was hoping to find ones similar sounding (i like that style) to the ones I've played. But I just found op 105 no 2, so that'll keep me busy for a couple days.

hello. I'm also practising Burmuller, I like him very much. I think Concone studies op 24 are a bit similar. also Gurlitt studies, Heller studies and William Gillok lyric preludes in romantic style. I hope it's useful for you!
