Looking for a ear trainning software (pitch, etc) similar to Earmaster
on: March 28, 2012, 11:17:52 PM
Hi I started studying at a music conservatory and I need to learn to do melodic dictation. To learn to sing the notes, and to say which notes the teacher is playing.
For instance if the teacher plays do-mi-sol, sol-mi-do, etc I need to sing those notes and with the name of the note. Also with the rhythm. And other exercises.
I cannot play in the piano a note without know what note I am playing , specially if I want to pick 3 notes like do mi sol. I need to do it with a friend. And it is kind of hard to do this. I would like to find a software that will help me to practice on my own.
Thanks a lot.
I also have android, so it could be an android software too.

I'm not familiar with 'earmaster' - take a look here though -
https://teoria.com/exercises/md.php
The same site has other relevant tools aswell.
