If you want to link a picture here you need to first upload it to Photobucket or another picture storing site and then use the "share" link that they provide there and copy it between the IMG tags here, like you did, but with the link from the photo storage site.

Like this:

I left a space here: [img *], otherwise the picture would show up.

You are not posting a link to a photo hosting site, but to some place on your harddisk, and that won't work. As I said, you need first to open an account at Photobucket or Flicker or some other photo hosting site, then you can embed the pictures here.

Probably better to use a photo hosting site than putting them in the audition room.  It will allow you to link to them, plus if you share in multiple forums, you only need to upload once.  You also have the advantage of thumbnail links, plus full size when you click the link.  People on slow connections will appreciate that.
