Looking for a pianist to record my music
on: April 16, 2012, 10:59:05 AM
Hello there,
I am looking for an up and coming classical pianist with a real feel for jazz and rhythm to record (in a professional recording studio) seven of my compositions inspired by the story of Manon Lescaut.
A look at my web site will give an idea of the style of the music I write (I have also posted a copy of the scores)

I look forward to hearing from you!
with thanks Dominic

Damn... I must admit, that first piece is remarkably lovely. Would love to help record it, but I'm all the way over in Australia mate...
It's a lovely collection of pieces you've got, so I wish you all the best. Hopefully someone here can help you.

I'm not a professional pianist, but I know one who might be suitable.
His name is Sergei Podobedov. He's based in London. He trained at the Moscow Conservatoire, Royal College of Music and UCLA. As well as playing the classical repertoire, he has recorded a couple of albums of modern music and has performed as an improvisor.
