Bach Cello Suite Transcription?
on: September 26, 2004, 02:41:30 AM
One of my books has transcriptions of movements from the Cello Suites.  I'm looking for the rest of the Sixth Suite.  My book only has the Gavotte.  Anyone have any idea of any famous piano transcriptions of if possible where online I could download the music?

Hm..did you find the Gavotte in a Bach album "of twenty-one favorite pieces?"

I don't know where you could find the rest of the piece-the only transcription of the cello suites I have are for viola. Sorry!

It's from a book called "J.S. Bach - Very Best for Piano".  Very poor print quality and some pieces have misspelled or even changed names.  The transcriptions don't say who transcribed them. The transcriptions themselves seem very well done, though.  That's what makes me think it must be a reprint of a more famous transcription
