Vertigo over the abyss

This kinda made me think of flying over a volcano down into which one could see for miles, into glowing deep red depths.

I felt a sense of the soupy molten lava below. A times it sputtered out from the ever moving mass. There was also the contrasting motif that gave a sense of where the observer was, high above and removed from the activity deep below.
