Schumann, Des Abends (Op. 12)
on: June 03, 2012, 09:27:18 PM
Hi all,
Recorded Des Abends, recently I've gotten into the habit of learning pieces by heart, this is one I learnt by heart. Now I am working on the second piece, which is a lot of fun, and I got it memorized as well, just want to brush up certain areas. Hope you enjoy.

I liked very much your performance! Schumann tends to be a bit repetitive, but you nuanced very well the dynamics, making the piece highly enjoyable. Bravo!!!
P.S. My favourite piece of op. 12 is In der Nacht...I'm sure you'd do a great job with it

Thanks costicina, I am very glad you liked it, I tend to get a bit overcritical I guess when I listen to my own recordings, so feedback helps me enormously. In der nacht is my favorite as well of the fantasiestucke...
