I like it how italian team play on this tournament. Prandelli aborted "catenaccio", which is boring, and finally italians play offensively. I think it will be difficult match for Germany, I count on goals and fantastic spectacle. :)

I know almost nothing about Italian strategy. I thought they always played that way. I had no idea they changed during the game. However there was no scoring. The difference was some clever thinking on the part of the Italian kickers.

Looking at Spain, it appears they still have  some very good players on the bench. Most everyone knows that Spanish football has been influenced by Dutch ideas from Dutch coaches working for Spanish clubs.

Well we have four of the best to watch.

Spain-Portugal: I'm split, with a slightly preference for Spain. Anyway, I hope to see a great match, entertaining and full of emotions....

Spain-Portugal, what a *** disappointment! Two clear situations during all match + extra time. It is shameful especially for Spain. I will not definitely support them in the final.

I stopped rooting for Spain when the last World Cup ended. I find their way of playing extremely boring.

Let's just hope that tomorrow's winner will get his hands on the cup.

Groan! Isn't mostly like this at the championship level?

Over the years of watching 0-0 football I have wondered if a rule change at this level wouldn't make the game less boring?

And why was Torres left on the bench? Same for Villa.

Villa is injured, he didn't go to the tournament.
Torres? It is not the same Torres, who played 2 years ago. He became diffident.

These teams has shown good game on this tournament so far. I am sure it will not disappoint us.

Turbo Mario has done it again... although there are 45 minutes left, we'll see if it was worth it.

UEFA EURO 2012? Is that a proposed remedy for the Eurozone crisis?

What a pleasure to finally see some real soccer! No questionable calls, no controversy, just pure sport with some fantastic goals. Congratulations Italia!

So, it's Spain... :'( :'( :'( :'(  But honestly their team has been the best: all of them (but Iniesta above all). Congratulations Spain, even if I can't help being disappointed....

Of course it's Spain. It's not like their young people have anything else to do but practice their football skills.

Don't be too sad. Being second in all Europe, is also something to celebrate.

Spain winning is a disaster for football -teams will copy their style -it's a great cure for insomnia -but that is about it.

Lame.
I'm really glad I haven't logged in to see this thread until now.

Guess I'll just stick to my own indoor summer league for now.
