Chopin - Nocturne #1 op 9
on: June 10, 2012, 12:14:55 AM
Hi to everyone! Today I want to show you my performance of the first Nocturne from the opus 9 of Frédérik Chopin :)

This is a piece that I like very much and I found it very interessting and pretty. This piece is composed by a main theme, later there is an intermidiate theme and at last we came to the main theme. This is the first of all his Nocturnes.

I played this piece in a concert three weeks ago, before playing the "Prélude" from Rachmaninof op 23 #5 and Chopin #1 op 10's Étude (I'll put them on the internet very soon :P )

I hope you'll like it! :D

I think calm down for about 10 % slower, it would be more tastful and musical. Good work.

I disagree, I think the tempo is good and doesn't hurt the piece. Many pianists play Chopin too slowly I think.
