Lucas Debargue - A Matter of Life or Death
Pianist Lucas Debargue recently recorded the complete piano works of Gabriel Fauré on the Opus 102, a very special grand piano by Stephen Paulello. Eric Schoones from the German/Dutch magazine PIANIST had a conversation with him. Read more >>

You seem very confused.  Who's dissin' the Bible?  Or the Koran or the Sutras for that matter?  It's the weird relationship some groups have with these tomes that's problematic.

I would argue that the Gospels, even if read as pure works of fiction in the same way you'd read To Kill a Mockingbird, contain more good teaching and advice than just about any book you'll find out there. Yes, it will help you solve your problems, but are you really going to say it doesn't count as solving your own problem if you read the Bible? That's like saying an addict doesn't want to solve his own problems and that's why he checked into rehab.
That was my response to the above. Anyway, it's too much like shooting fish in a barrel so goodbye!

I used to dabble a bit with Christianity, but stopped when I attended an Alpha Course where the teacher proudly announced that he told his own 15 year old daughter that she would burn in hell if she did not accept Jesus as her saviour.

Religion can be particularly damaging in it's strongest form. I expect that World War 3 will probably be started by some brain dead tambo banger that thinks he is doing Gods will.

those people are just as bad as radical religious people who knock at my door every month.

I tell them that I'm having a black mass lol

I usually talk to them, and casually try to sell them something really pointless..  like a carrot, for $1.

I believe that Alexander Scriabin is the creator of the world, the universe and everything else  8)

At least, this would be much more plausible than the other story, they tell about a guy named Jesus  ::)
