You haven't really showed us anything about how good you are.

But irrespective of that, go for it dude!

it's not what you're playing but rather how you're playing what you're playing...things to consider...

also to what level of refinement are you after on the new rep? is it for competition? if so , against whom (i.e. how good is the field )? is it for personal enrichment? for an exam?

This is my favorite Scriabin etudes

That's my favorite too!  First you're into Scriabin's Op. 42 No. 5, and now you're thinking about Rachmaninoff moment musical No. 4?!

I feel like we're gonna get along REAAALLLY well...   ;D ;D ;D

As for whether or not you can play this, where is your teacher in this?  Even if he says it's too hard for you, I would still try to learn it on the side no matter what!

If you like this Scriabin etude that much, you'd find time to practice it in addition to your current piano projects.

I'm completing the 12 Etudes Op8 before moving on to other Scriabin Etudes.
Perfection itself is imperfection.

Currently practicing
Albeniz Triana
Scriabin Fantaisie Op28
Scriabin All Etudes Op8
