Aaaaaaaaagh this is a tough one too...

If it wasn't for the Rach 3, then it would be a tie, but since it actually exists, I'll say Rachmaninoff.

I created these touch decisions (Ex. Chopin or Liszt?) because I couldn't decide either!  :o

YOu know, some people say that Rach 3 is an 18 year old's piece, but Mozart's 23rd is a 40 year old's piece

i like both, rachmaninoff is more pianistic and sounds better to the general public, but scriabin is 10 times more complex

I know a lot of people who listened to a lot of exciting Romantic music when they were teenagers but grew out of it and now listen to more Classical. It's not surprising. Young people, I think, are much more passionate. So much extremity. I've been told (I'm still in the first group!) and I've observed that as you get older, you mellow out. Of course, if it's true what they say, that musicians never grow up, I won't have to worry about losing my love for Romantic music  ;D

Actually, I changed my mind a bit.  It depends on how I'm feeling irrespective of the Rach 3.

I looked on my iPod and I listen to an equal amount of Scriabin and Rachmaninoff.  One day I may have more works played by rachmaninoff than Scriabin, but the day after, I'll have more Scriabin than Rachmanioff.

So I guess I really am 50/50 Rach and Scriabin.

I enjoy both, but is it true that there are Rach pieces that require a 12th in a single hand stretch? IDK what I would do if I loved the piece, and it broke my heart like that. :P

I'll give it a go once the Dr gives me the all clear.  Incidentally, you missed a "n" in the last one.

I just separated the ni and the noff

If you take away the dash and put in front of the first n, then it's vie-ninoff

Try Rachriavine instead, then we won't have to change your nickname.  ;)

Yeah but that would neglect Scriabin!  I had to read the name like three times to get the Scriabin in it.

So how about...

Rachscriavine?

Or...

Scriarachyvine?

Or...

Since it can't actually be changed anyway (unless you completely re-register and lose your identity), I suggest you stick with what you've got. In any case, the list appears to be growing, so any solution would be temporary.

I'll give a final suggestion when Bach gets added to your list. Or hell freezes over. Whichever happens first.  ;)
