Pieces which support the progress of the Bach/Busoni chaconne
on: August 15, 2012, 11:44:14 AM
Hello,
I´m currently learning the Bach/Busoni Chaconne in d minor. What a beautiful work
I´m looking for pieces which I can learn together with the chaconne, pieces which "support" the progress of the chaconne. I hope you know what I mean:)
Thank you all!
Best regards

How about playing the other movements of Bach's Partita d minor for Violin ?
It's playable very well on the piano!
Personally I'm not such a big fan of transcriptions of pieces, which can be played
in their original form on the piano, even if they are written for other instruments.

If it doesn't work - try something different!
