You might be better off posting this to the "Polls" forum, which is a subforum of "Miscellaneous".

I'm not familiar with the Schubert sonatas but as for Beethoven, I'd probably say the Appassionata, although I'm not especially fond of any of Beethoven's sonatas.

Favoirite Beethoven?

Yeesh... I don't really like him as you might now, but I really like the Waldestein sonata, and DEFINATELY the most is the Tempest Sontata. Love that one... kminda
Working on:
Bach Invention 7 (also Tureck's book)
Clementi Sonatina 3
Rachmaninoff Moment Musicaux no. 3

I actually went on YouTube to listen to the Appassionata (for some reason I don't have a recording on my comp...), and she was the first result so I said, "Ah, what the heck?" I was actually very impressed. Perhaps it's because I don't know the piece as well and thus do not have as strong of opinions on how it should be interpreted, but I really like it! The things I've heard her play in the past have been huge disappointments, although maybe those are older recordings of hers and she's gotten better? Who knows?

The more you listen to other recordings, the more you begin to dislike the video.  The audio quality is so bad.  The dynamic changes on it are so minuscule you barely notice it.  But yeah, she does a pretty good Appassionata.

No she does a good Appassionata, it's just the audio quality of the video that I don't like.

I bought the book and by Urtext but it is pretty hard to read Schubert because I have not listened to much of him! Almost as bad as reading Prokofiev. I can't hear if I am playing the right notes! AAAAAAH!!!
