Need help deciphering notes of sad anime song
on: September 03, 2012, 07:41:04 AM
Hi all,
Link to song (it goes for 1 minute):
It's from the anime Sailor Moon. I am trying to play it on piano. Alas, I can't find the music notes anywhere (it's not from official soundtrack).
Can someone please either:
-deciper the music notes
-put a tutorial up on youtube
-or create a midi file
It would be greatly appreciated! Even just clues to how to play it.
Thanks.

My clue would be that the melody seems to start on B flat above middle C, progress to C then E flat down to D and up to F. Then it goes B flat, C, E flat, D and back to B flat. Try that much in rhythm to the video song and see what you think. At least that's one combo I came up with.
I did not find sheet music to this either FWIW.

Depressing the pedal on an out of tune acoustic piano and playing does not result in tonal color control or add interest, it's called obnoxious.

Thanks for your help. I'm not too sure of that melody.
I got : Octave above middle C (C5)
Up to E, G, E, up to B, back down to E, G, E, one down to D.
Stumped on the next bit.
