I have an upright Schumann piano serial number 41049. Does anyone have or know how to find out the age, and maybe value? Thanks

If you think it's is expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur.

Values are determined by the person who can see the instrument in person.

If the instrument requires refinishing and some cabinet repairs that will drive the value down.

Most older tall uprights are only worth a few hundred in today's world unless restorative work has been completed.
