Pianos are (unfortunately)hard to sell out of the house, especially since their are so many sizes, types and names. Given its age,(not really old, but a few years under its belt) be prepared to take at least 30% less than its original cost. A dealer could sell it quicker on consignment and probably get a little more than you could, but they get a ballpark figure of 25% of the sale price. Estonia is a beautiful instrument, especially the bubinga veneered, but most folks haven't heard of it yet. It gets narrowed down to the more experienced and knowledgeable pianists. Its like they all have Steinway, Baldwin and Yamaha engraved on the brain. Unfortunately again, that cuts down the amount of potential buyers down by a lot. I see you live in Vermont too. I live on Long Island and you inspired me to go shop for one. I hope your not discouraged. Curious to know what you would like to get if you don't mind.
