Please see the link for a description of this practice method.

Marc-Andre Hamelin uses it as well.  I'm very tempted to try it, especially if it improves my playing of difficult passages.  Anyone has any experience they can share?
Beethoven - Sonata in C sharp minor, Op 27 No 12
Chopin - Fantasie Impromptu, Nocturn in C sharp minor, Op post
Brahms - Op 118, Nos 2 & 3

Sounds great...

I'll just use it to learn the Rach 3...    ::)

Although I can't deny that it's intriguing - It seems a bit weird that to help your right hand play efficiently - you mirror it and play it with the left???

I think one must "unlearn" some of the habits created in normal life to learn piano well. One is the every day left and right hand coordination.

A bit different issue for me is, that I feel that everything I play is neglecting my left hand. My left hand is just as capable as my right  but gets much less workout. So in my mind I have played with the idea that I should play the right hand parts on the left as an exercise. I have a book on pieces for left hand but haven't really had time to work on it yet.
