Bach Prelude and Fugue for 4 voices
on: September 25, 2012, 06:38:19 PM
I am required to learn and analysis and 4 voices prelude and fugue for a class project...
What are my options?
What is the difficulty levels?
Any suggestion that which piece I should pick? Which are the most difficult ones? (Trying to stay away from them for now...I only played French Suites and 3 parts invention before...)
Thank you!!!!

here are all fugues listed with number of voices and other info you can use for your analysis. I myself can't help you much with the difficulty, but a list of it is here:

I'm practicing BWV 862 atm, it has a really nice prelude and fugue. Listen to it, it's great.
