I stumbled upon this today, though it was from the date I posted in the title (which was the title on the file on my computer). I had recently put this file onto a CD, actually, thinking it was a different prelude of mine, and I was very surprised when I heard it today. I had hardly any recollection of having improvised it, and it was interesting for me to listen all the way through from that perspective of unfamiliarity regarding one of my own works. I guess I'm finding it interesting enough to post here right now.
I will admit that, lately, I'm surprised to find that I am better understanding the train of thought and structure of my improvisations from years back, this one included. I can actually hear a thread throughout, and I didn't used to know I was threading stuff together. Since this improvisation is from awhile ago, I searched the sticky thread to try to see if I had ever posted this before, and I don't believe I have. I apologize if somehow it is indeed a repeat! But, lately I've been really excited by improvisation, actually, and realizing more of what it means to me. Well, I won't go on and on. I do feel though that there are quite a number of improvs which I've posted over the years here, that I could actually truly turn into compositions, and I am pleased at this fact.
I hope you are having, have had, or will have, a beautiful day
