solve this, byach. actually I have been working on just those couple of bars on and off for an hour now, idk why this part is so hard for me. Probably because it is hard to hear the separate hands independently when I am going so slow! It's such a struggle coordinating many things at once sometimes.
I like the part right after that bar and the next one, where it has that beautiful sad melody, but Argerich does not play that part with emotional emphasis. I have heard other pianists play that part well, though. It is such a joy to feel it.
I can agree with that, what about Ashkenazy?
I do nothing but Hanon all day every day because it is obviously the unsung masterpiece of piano literature.
I'd think that would get incredibly boring. Maybe you should throw in a few Scarlatti sonatas or something. They're really good for training your hands.
I have a feeling that he was being sarcastic..
And then will the skateboarding move, basketball shot or lap in the pool benefit them when they're 70 like your piano will?
