Royal Academy of Music in London
on: October 13, 2004, 10:58:28 PM
In December this year, I'm going to London together with a violinist friend as we are applying to RAM in London. At the moment, we are both practicing as much as possible, usually at least 6 hours a day (tough since we have school as usual and have to practice after our lessons in school).
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows how difficult it is to get in to this school? I mean, I don't even think that we will get in, but it's probably a good thing to try. Has anyone on this forum applied to RAM, or does anyone here go there? I would like to know some more about where the standard is, what the jury expects of the musicians. Any information is helpful.

One of our forum members just recently applied and was accepted there.  I'll give you his email address if you PM me.
