I really enjoyed that, thank you for posting it.
What do you think Beethoven was thinking when he wrote it? It is mocking something, and quite ironic, I think, but I'm not sure what he is mocking. Does he have sincere moments of melancholy from which he then distances himself by making fun of them? Or is he simply mocking a certain style of music? Does he express real emotions and then undercut them or is the whole thing just a game?

Hi ariel,
I think this is one of Beethoven's finest sonatas. The articulation requires close attention to rhythm and touch among other challenges, and you take all of these details in stride. It's obvious too that you really enjoy performing this music. This is an excellent rendition. Thanks for sharing it!
