Lyapunov Transcendental Etudes
on: November 13, 2012, 08:28:31 PM
Hi everyone,

I recently discovered Lyapunov's gorgeous transcendental etudes on YouTube, and after much searching I found the sheet music. However, try as I might I simply cannot find a decent recording of them! Any ideas on where I can find one?

Thank you :)

I own the Sherbakov recording myself. Yes, I can't get enough of it and try to listen to it as often as possible.

This is why I love forums like this (and Talk Classical) I never would have heard of this composer otherwise, and I am very excited to check out this material   ;D I have wishlisted this on Amazon and plan to purchase it in a couple of months.

They are marvellous, aren't they. You can listen on-line to the recordings of Sherbakov, Kentner and Malcolm Binns here:

Kentner's rendition is especially magnificent.
