Other hobbies and activities? (excepting music)

Hello!

Except for piano and music, do you have any other favourite hobbies? Any big loves that you would like to share with us? 

Me, I love dance! To be honest, not as much as piano, but since I was 5, I've been doing ballet.
Generally, I loooooooooove art! I also like theatre, although I don't know a lot of things about it. And finally, I can't imagine my life without literature. It is a constituent part of my life! 

What about you? Sports, art or anything else?

Digital drawing, reading (Harry Potter, Song of Ice and Fire, Lord of the Rings, etc.), gaming (Assassin's Creed, Skyrim, Tomb Raider) and I love watching Supernatural and some other great tv-shows.

Tuning electronic equipment, and learning about tuning and repairing pianos. The first one is just something I was taught to do but the second one will be way more fun. Also I like to look at pictures of Chopin and his apartment and read about his life, practically stalker level if he was not gone. There's probably more but playing with puppies and kitties is necessary for one's happiness, so it does not count as a hobby.

Number 1 -- flying.  I don't do it anymore (I don't see well enough anymore) -- but there is nothing like flying.  Yourself that is -- I don't mean getting into one of those dreadful aluminium tubes and going somewhere!

And playing with cats.

And just generally taking care of my farm!

Oh yes -- and sleeping (nothing like an afternoon nap, either...).

My biggest hobby next to music is to design and program 8 bit video games. I also like to compose music for them. My wife helps with the art . I also like to read fantasy novels. Currently I'm reading Game of Thrones, and its good but I find myself yearning for something that has a more mythological ethos to it the way Tolkien, Lewis, Le Guin, are able to do in their books. And playing with cats is awesome. Also, just playing video games is a pretty important hobby to me as well, also primarily focused on 8 bit style games. Recently I've been working on Ninja Gaiden 3. Learning how to beat these notoriously difficult games has fascinated me for several years now. I'm really not sure how anybody ever thought they were for children.

Cooking! I don't know if it's a full blown hobby, but whenever I need to relax I cook something. Sweet things, that is... And I also enjoy (a bit shallow maybe) to watch something like Americas next top model. It's really relaxing to have something where you don't have to think at all.

my sister is like that.. she got her performance degree and ran the Iron Man...all in one semester....  nothing like being an overachiever.

I used to be a huge hockey fan (Detroit Red Wings). Loved them. The third lockout in seven years is leaving a bad taste in my mouth for the whole NHL though. Especially since a proposal was just approved to use TAXPAYER money to help fund a new arena.

I enjoy kickboxing, tennis, scubadiving (though I've only been 3-4 times). I love to read. I usually enjoy cooking, though not as much lately. And I like to spend time with my husband and small children (2.5 year old son and 4 month old daughter)

EDIT: Oh, and programming computers/making websites, etc. as well.
