Silent piano... where to buy?
on: November 28, 2012, 11:57:29 PM
Are these things even sold in the US? When I search to buy them, I get a ton of sites in the UK. I'm in MA/the US. And, my local Yamaha guy seemed to not really know what I was talking about.

Thoughts?

I also came across a previous chat on this site about sound dampening kits that can make the piano 80% quieter, or even produce a digital sound with a retrofitted kit.

Hmmm.... Maybe I won't need to go digital after all...

Knabe console pianos (and some others, just not sure which) have a middle pedal which is a practice pedal, so that cuts the sound down.
