WHYYYYYYY
on: December 07, 2012, 02:28:02 AM
I keep my self thoroughly occupied with music, and Beethoven usually easily fills the holes in my heart, and soothes any pain as well as heals various piano sicknesses that one may catch while learning the piano/practicing/preforming. I need a friend(or love), and a certain person is so perfect in every single way that I just can't stop thinking about him but I think he may be humoring me with his kindness, not really interested though, obviously because every conversation ends with him ignoring me. Please, somebody help me. It really upsets me and I just can't give up.

Well why didn't you say so?!?!?!

Just try to crazy stuff.  That's what I do when I'm bored.  I find the hardest stuff I can find and use it as my exercise book.

Wow, I have the same problem. This sets perfect grounds for the typical American teenager to tell me I have no life!

Fortunately, I don't care. I am pretty damn content with my life.

Somewhat astray from the original topic, but did you attend standard education for grade school?

It wasn't meant as an insult. I meant 'standard' as in 'not geared toward music conservatory type'.

Unfortunately I have to agree to some level. I blame much of it on the upbringing of girls. They are pretty much stripped of all straightforwardness (is that a word?). So they learn to talk a lot but not really say what they think/want.

Maybe you just don't know about it? How could they resist someone who can both skate AND play Bach??

Dude my ankle is still swollen from that time I rolled it over the summer.

The doctor said that it's gonna be like that forever.

Well, that's not good, is it? Hopefully it'll get better. Anyway, don't bother trying to get a girlfriend, it's a horrid idea. If you ever meet a person you truly love, you'll know. (Hint: Valentina Lisitsa)

Maybe not...when I was young I twisted my ankle so bad it was swollen and weird almost a year...was pretty handy actually, could use it whenever I wanted to get out of some idiotic physical acitivity they called sports...But it became normal eventually.

A swollen ankle could actually be good, get you some emphathy points. Poor guy has to play Bach instead of Scriabin because can't pedal  :(

I would use my other foot.

But if I had to play Bach for the rest of my life, I would kill myself.  Slowly and painfully.

I remember when I hurt my ankle when I was 14, my music teacher let me get out of all athletic activities and instead I got extra violin lessons. Needless to say, my violin-playing skills improved a lot that year.

Did you go to a regular high school?

I did, but my music teacher was a really good violinist, and she heard me play one day and offered to teach me during music classes, which were too easy. This was in tenth grade, my first year in the US.
