New Audition Rep
on: December 08, 2012, 01:25:51 AM
Mixed in some new with the old for grad school audition rep.
What do you think?
Bach PnF b minor from WTCII
Beethoven Op.81a
Chopin 4th Ballade
Chopin Etude 10/4 or 25/11
Rachmaninov Etude "Little Red Riding Hood"
Scriabin b minor fantasie
My main concern is that the Scriabin isn't late enough for a "modern" work in contrast to the ballade and such. Too romantic of a program? I'd like to keep les adieux & the ballade because they are old staples for me, but I'd be willing to change everything else. also the bach.

Are you required to include a "modern" piece?
...and is there an example of one provided by them?
