I'm now a piano teacher! I was contacted last week by a Korean family who just moved here. They were looking for a teacher for their 13-year-old daughter. Apparently some of the local teachers recommended me to this family, as they had heard me perform and knew I was looking for a position as piano teacher. I just heard from the family again, and apparently they want to start lessons next week! Yay! And I also heard that this girl is very talented, playing pieces such as Beethoven's Sonata Op. 27 No. 1. I hope lessons go well!
How very exciting for you.. get ready to finally start learning about how to play the piano.
congrats. how hard a piece is doesn't exactly define talent, but if other people told you so....and shes asian lol..
The age effects the talent too?...and because you first became a teacher theres no way you'd know. I wish you the best of luck, but don't judge things like talent tooo quickly.
nice Keep a friendly relationship with the parents, but try not to be too friendly with the student. The best thing a teacher can do is to get the full respect of a student, and the student will always try his/her best at lesson, respond to the teacher naturally instead of just repeating robotically everything they practiced.which movement of the beethoven sonata
