Rach 3 Ossia sections?
on: December 24, 2012, 08:30:33 PM
I wonder if anyone has/knows of a list of all Ossia setions in Rachmaninoff's third. So far I know of the first movement cadenza, the conclusion of the scherzo section in third movement along with the concerto's ossia ending. Are there any more?

I wonder why you can't just flip through the score and find these for yourself? It wouldn't take much more than 30 seconds...

As you have played it, perhaps you could save him/her the 30 seconds.

The fact that I play it doesn't mean I know all the Ossia sections too, unless I choose to learn them. And no I don't memorize their location in the score either...

Why would I take the time to write a post on a website if I didn't look at the score first? The scores I have seen don't include any ossia sections. That's why I asked.

I don't know of any besides the cadenza, the end of the concerto, and the E flat scherzo (that one is very brief).
