I have totally nothing to do when my piano teacher told me that she will be taking holidays for half month...Oh God....What should i do this holiday~~ :(

Enjoy the opportunity to either:
- Play the things you have learned before and make them even better
- Learn something new on you own

I actually was happy for the 3 weeks break because I have wanted to go back to certain pieces but never had the time...

Back when I had a teacher many years ago, the holidays is how I started taking an interest in reworking show tunes. Movie themes mostly, some Broadway pieces too or otherwise just some pop music. And of course Christmas Carols. I was always one to strike out on my own though !
Depressing the pedal on an out of tune acoustic piano and playing does not result in tonal color control or add interest, it's called obnoxious.

I like the second idea...but i think both of it is important....I must work hard even its holidays too...thanks ;D

Well, i absolutely support you to try it~~ Good luck!! Well i think sometimes i want to do that myself but i m still not an excellent pianist yet...I must do my best even its holiday and maybe next time i will be your composing rivals?? XDDD just kidding
