Looking for jazz fusion pianists for a short solo recording!
on: January 19, 2013, 05:35:52 PM
Hey folks!
I'm new here, I must admit that I joined the forum just to post this thread, but I am looking forward to post much more here, since I do play the piano myself! (not my primary instrument) I am not as good of a pianist, that's about all the stuff I can play: [ Invalid YouTube link ]t=19s
I am a composer and music producer, and I started a new jazz fusion/pop project, and I'm currently working on my first promotional track of the EP. The entire track is pretty much ready, but in order to complete it or even significantly improve the song, I need a nicely done jazz fusion solo.
Since my track is still WIP, I cannot share any of it yet, but here are a few things to know:
1. It's heavily inspired by Mezzoforte, DIMENSION (JP), Dirty Loops, Chick Corea Elektrik Band etc.
2. I will need the solo in MIDI form, so I can import it in my DAW and work it there.
If that small intro sounds appealing to you, you are familiar with the kind of style I'm looking for, and have the confidence to pull out a nice groovy solo, please contact me through my e-mail found here:

and I will be more specific as to what I'm looking for, share a sample of the solo part etc.
It's a fun and innovative project, so feel free to contact, if you want!
Thanks,
Yiannis
