It usually starts with some kind of exposition.  The overall form seems to through-composed - sections do not repeat.  The last section is usually some catchy tune, like the HungRapper2 or 6 that many people enjoy, though they may not like what was played before the tune.

Personally, I don't like any of the Hung Rappers! :P

Personally, No.1 and No.19 strike a special chord (haha  :Dlittle joke there) with me because its amazing to see how Liszt's style changed throughout his lifetime.  No.2 is a lot of fun to listen to and to play around with.  No.12 is probably the most heroic, and No.7 is the most gypsy like in its tone.

BTW? what is a rhapsody?  I keep thinking it must be a mix between a taco and a burrito.

Hey in my opinion, the good ones are 2, 6, 10,11,13, and spanish rhapsody. I've played the Spanish Rhapsody and it is so difficult.  ive never liked no.12, its a bit cheesy.

on top of the 19 rhapsodies, I also recommend the Hungarian Fantasy, which is really another hungarian rhapsody, but larger and with orchestra.

you know, its just based on No.14 with more flashy cadenzas and organized into a concerto with many variations..
