I only know three piano films:

1)“Dangerous Moonlight” (1941), also known as “Suicide Squadron” with Anton Walbrook
(Queen of Spades). The score is written by Richard Addinsell and the Warsaw Concerto
is played by Louis Kentner.

2)“The Seventh Veil” (1945) with James Mason, Ann Todd & Herbert Lom, psychological
thriller about a pianist.

3)Sviatoslav Richter – Documentary – The Enigma.
I only saw this documentary only once but did not learn what I wanted to know and perhaps
I have to see it again.

There are numerous films about Glenn Gould, of which I can particularly recommend two: a documentary called Genius Within, and an uncategorizable film called Thirty Two Short Films about Glenn Gould.

I also recently saw a Hollywood movie about a pianist which surprised me by including very generous portions of music on the soundtrack, from the 40's. Unfortunately I can't remember the name at the moment.
