Composers names and their works:

Don't you find that some how the names of composers reflect their personality in their work?

For example beethoven sounds like a strong manly harsh name that speaks like thunder...thus roars out Symphony Nr 5

And mozart is a more danty frolicy dancy prancy "in the major key" sorta fellow that sings and twirls on stuff like a little night music...

Just my opinion ..

If spatula was a composer then....   ::)

Mozart, the major key fellow.  Haha!  that's very funny indeedy. :D ;D

But no, not really.  Maybe Rachmaninov sounds like loud insane banging.  It's a harsh sound his name makes.  But no, it's probably more likely that we hear their works and inflict it into their names and just associates them as such.  Like how many perhaps associate Alkan with only virtuosic and difficult works regardless of whether or not it is true.

I mean of course composers aren't just restricted to one medium or style...
