Hello, I am 13 and have been playing piano for a couple of years. I first heard the Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 1 on the movie Misery and it has been my favorite ever since. I have a very good natural ear so I was able to learn my own version of this song very easy but it still didn't sound quite like the real one so I finally just bought the real music and have been working on it on and off for the past three weeks. I have heard from many pianists that this piece is quite "Difficult" but it don't really seem hard. What do you think, Difficult or not Difficult ?

Somehow I don't think I would have referred to it as a "song".  But maybe I'm just an old fogy.  Probably am.  But is it difficult?  Yeah... there are bits of it which aren't too bad, actually -- but the concerto as intended, as a piece?  Yes, it's difficult.

Of course it's a song! Rule 35 -- if it exists, it's a song.

I remember always loving this piano concerto but when my Grandma heard me listening to it a few times she would start singing, "tonight we love."  I thought she was being silly but I see it really was made into a song.

If I can play it, anyone can.  Definitely NOT super difficult.
