If i was a very advanced alien race and i happen to see a primitive race of apes (humans) waging war and nuclear bombs, I think its safe not to land in a public area unless I want an army of military and airbombs coming my way.
Being the spiritually and technologically advanced race who has lived for say... a millions years longer than humans, I think I would not interfere in human relationships and let them personally achieve their own enlightenment and technology advancement until they reach a peaceful level of advancement and peace would I be happy and welcomed to land and transverse with humans. Wouldn't look good in our history books if we had to be baby sit by aliens.
We went from horses to rocket-ships in a 100 years. Surely we must have some humility to our existence. Who would have dreamed of videocams 100 years ago? we have barely any knowledge of our vast universe.
We need an open mind, remember when we were crucified for thinking the earth was flat? There is many former government people who have disclosed information for their existence, such as the national press conference in washington called the 'Disclosure project' which is on youtube aswell. We trusted them before when they looked over us, but now when they are actually putting their career and life at risk to inform us we ridicule them because of the subject matter.
