Question Re: Piano Street Score of Rachmaninoff C# Minor Prelude
on: April 25, 2013, 03:12:06 PM
In my recently downloaded Piano Street Score of the Rachmaninoff C# Minor Prelude, I show a possible mistake in measure #48. An old "Superior" edition of mine has a D natural in the third chord of the left hand.
In the Piano Street "Urtext" version, it shows a D#. There is a big difference in the sound. My ear tells me that the Superior edition is the correct version.
What does your score show?

The Superior Edition was published by Carl Fischer.
