Best transcription of Waltz of the Flowers?
on: May 05, 2013, 03:17:15 AM
I've got an urge to play it. I'm currently looking at the Taneyev transcription but I was wondering if I should be looking elsewhere. Preferably i want free sheet music access online..
Also I want to play the Pas de Deux from the Nutcracker. Recommendations for transcriptions?

Taneyev transcribed the whole Nutcracker, so you should be able to get his version of the Pas de deux.
I don't know of a better transcription of either, though if you wan't a great paraphrase of the Waltz, Percy Grainger's is good.
