You're just bragging.  I bet in a blind test, say, the Red Breast Irishes of different age statements would be a wash.  Yes, I've sampled all their expressions, and didn't find much remarkable beyond the 12-year.

Or if not, diminishing returns.  Does Yellow Spot Irish merit a price more than double that of the Green Spot?

The differences, if any, are so subtle I contend one would have to be some kind of super-taster.

No offense, but to the unacquainted tongue - maybe the joys of tasting anything better than a 12-year old scotch are lost on you... or maybe you've spent your whole life drinking turpentine that it's burnt off your taste buds.

I however got to try it from a good friend of mine from high school who has a rather nice whiskey collection. Just catching up with him for dinner... and talking about the good old days of video games in the 90's.
