True fact, one of my parents went to high school with Matt Groening....I know all about the Simpcrotches, from the very beginning, and I don't need to hear any more from that gargoyle of misery that used to be a cartoon featuring some amusements.

Oh come on... Futurama was a different show. I wouldn't say better. The Simpsons managed to make 10 seasons before it went downhill. Futurama maybe had 3 before they started getting rather dumb. The one where Professor Farnsworth builds a 'what if' machine??? C'mon... that was a sad excuse to not make a cohesive episode.

They tried to redeem themselves with the 4 movies. The first one wasn't bad, but the other 3 were pretty atrocious.

Now that they've revived it for like the 3rd time, the episodes are just terrible.

Yes, they're cartoons, but they're also entertainment. So are ALL TV shows (apart from documentaries).

There are some great TV shows - The Shield, Breaking Bad, Ted Lasso. There are some great documentaries as well. Idris Elba investigates the rampant knife crime in London.

Some are feel-good shows like Ted Lasso... others are quite informative about how heists were planned like 'The Helicopter heist'.

Eh....he's been on LeTube forever.....he's not going anywhere.  Has a pretty good ear for rudimentary chord progressions (so do I, but I need to be at an instrument of some kind to play through them — can't reliably hear it in my inner ear, although I can sight-sing off a page reasonably well, know intervals and all that).

He does give great interviews with very famous musicians, and has access to master tapes for classic recordings that mere mortals just can't get.
