Not really.  It's been my observation that younger kids will at the least think of a forty-something that he or she is incapable, out of touch, possibly deranged, maybe knocking at death's door, or a stern disciplinarian without humor.

FWIW I'm in my forties as well, but I just happen to like watching movies and don't really watch cartoons.  Other hobbies include drinking, playing pool, reading, and women.  And also dressing like an adult, lest you think of middle-aged people as people striving to recapture their youth through clothing and such.

The moveable Do is acceptable, but the response should include a recording of the poster singing the main subject, in pitch, without any melisma.

I suppose the OP could just write out the solfège in letters, but I'd really prefer a graphic depiction in standard notation, with appropriate RNA or at least basic chords indicated super grand staff.

Well that's right magnanimous of you.  I assure you you're not the only one with golden ears out there. 

Perhaps not on this board, with your alacrity and precision, but music copyists (whom I don't think really exist as jobbers any more:  the job is to listen to a pop song once and write a piano reduction/arrangement accurately and idiomatically, primarily for copyright reasons, and to do it extremely quickly), and some composers then and now have been endowed with large packages of ability.

Meh... it's boring. There's no challenge. Plus, those who do Pop songs have maybe 4 chords to deal with, 5 at best. I take orchestral pieces in some cases and really cram in as many notes as a pianist can manage.

I don't deal with pop songs... they're way too easy and rather boring. I wrote the entire arrangement of this:
