It's a statement about society.
Cencorship at work maybe?
Doubtful. It would be a brave enterprise that tried to silence Maggie Thatcher.
Hmmm...?Cencorship at work maybe?
Okay everybody, if any of you all think you can have the last post in this thread, now that I am here you may want to reconsider such an impossible to achieve goal. It ain't gonna happen. Or does a quasi-old timer from Texas need to show you all how to get it done right? I am all saddled up and ready to go, and I won't need until the cows come home to straighten this here mess out.
As much as I hate to double post... I just saw this after my initial post...I was here before you were, I shall be here well after you. You will not win this thread.
Something says to me that you have not crossed paths before now with a true Texan.
Now who's gonna be the last one standing?
A scot.Although, don't let the kilt fool you - Mel Gibsons scottish accent was awful.
Sorry but
A scot.
I was born here. Everyone I know was born here too. That makes me a native, right?
So you get an owl and I'll get a cute black guy?
I think the correct term is 'African-American'... Geez...
It must be tougher for non-US people. For race terms I mean. I would they would just say black. But then they'd probably also have to take into account if they're from the US, in which case it would be 'African American.'
I guess this would work too.
I didn't catch the second part until today. It just sounds funny to me if you're saying you don't see obvious features about people.
It's just the missing gender and skin color part. Workplace political correctness....Bob: Hey, someone stopped by for you.Coworker: Was it a tall African American guy?Bob: I don't know. I didn't notice.Coworker: o_0Bob: ...I don't see gender or ethnicity. I'm sure they'd prefer to called a "person" too and not an "it."
Pianos and Pandas have something in common. Guess what?
Hmm....
Oh my, how quaint a ? symbol !
There's facial blindness... I wonder if there's something like self-appearance blindness.
